Deep purple with a vintage edge. A round, domed semi-precious amethyst cabochon in rich violet sits at the center of each of these stud earrings, ringed by a halo of small pavé stones. Around that, a frame of open curb-chain links curls in a flower-like circle, all in a dark gunmetal finish. A bold, textured pair on post backs.

The earrings are solid 316 stainless steel finished in IP light black (gunmetal) ion plating. Ion plating bonds the color to the steel for a finish that is far more durable than ordinary plating. They won't tarnish or turn your skin green.
